Technical support

We provide technical support during the planning stages and execution.

Proof

Cromalin, ozasol, matchprint or digital proof e.g. Agfa Sherpa® printed on a calibrated device can be used as print guides in the offset print technology.

Template

A template or a trial print shall be enclosed to the above mentioned materials. They can be printed in any technique but shall embrace all graphic elements spotted as designed.

Remarks

Projects consisting of photographs and big one-colour areas shall have the edges of the photographs designed with one Pantone® number colour to increase the quality of print. A type of paper has an influence on the final colour result. Print on COATED papers like chalk papers shall be compared with colours marked CVC in the Pantone® colour swatch.

Remarks c.d.

Whereas, print on UNCOATED papers like offset papers shall be compared with colours marked CVU in the Pantone® colour swatch.

Materials

All projects in electronic versions can be supplied on CDs, DVDs or directly transferred onto our FTP server in PDF or EPS formats. The both types of files shall be: composite files, bitmaps of 300dpi of resolution and of CMYK colours. Please note that, if necessary, trapping and overprint are required. As for binders, the format of the outside cover shall be enlarged with additional minimum 16 mm to each side /bleed/ in comparison to the binder’s format. The additional minimum 2 mm of bleed will be sufficient in any other case e.g. for the inner cover.

If a customer decides to deliver to us already printed sheets the paper must have 130-135 gsm and fibres along the longer edge of sheets cut and prepared to produce binder.

Dimension

The size of our products depends on customer requirements if only the dimension of a flat binder does not exceed 860 mm x 450 mm. Please make sure that a picture shall be positioned not closer than 10 mm to the binder’s edge.
